About BudgetTrove

BudgetTrove is a free personal finance command center that keeps your whole financial picture on one screen: a day-by-day budget spreadsheet with a running balance, savings and investment tracking, credit cards and loans, a shift and tip tracker for hourly work, paycheck and paystub tools, and a yearly review of where your money actually went.

What the app does

You build a month on a spreadsheet the way a check register works: income on one side, expenses on the other, with a cleared balance you can trust. From there the app tracks savings goals and contributions, reconciles credit cards and loans against their statements, splits each debt payment into interest and principal so your reports show real spending instead of money that simply moved, and projects your payoff date. Hourly and tip workers get a shift tracker that ties every payout to the shift that earned it, plus a work and time calendar for hours, overtime, PTO and sleep. Nothing connects to your bank: you enter or import your own numbers, and the app does the arithmetic.

Who it is for

BudgetTrove is for anyone who wants to see exactly where their money stands without paying for it or handing over bank credentials. It suits people living paycheck to paycheck, shift and tip earners whose income changes week to week, and anyone digging out of card or loan debt who wants interest separated from spending. It is available in English, Spanish, French and Portuguese, on a phone as well as a desktop.

Who builds it

BudgetTrove is built and maintained by Photrove LLC, a small independent software studio. It is made by a tiny team rather than a bank or a data company, which is why the app carries no ads, sells nothing about you, and never asks for access to your accounts. Feedback goes straight to the people who write the code, and you can reach them at any time from the contact page.
